Co-sign. my dad raised me on this era. I have a soft spot for these characters.

i left the theater thinkin well that was pretty good. but the more i think about it, the more i realize how much i loved it. lol. great story, acting, amaazingg effects and directing.

it was good for what it was. They set out to turn Star Trek into a popcorn summer blockbuster, and they definitely succeeded, and executed it well (except for the story which was pretty retarded at times) but it wasn't no type of Oscar-Contender or anything

Not really a fan of the TV show Star Trek, even though i have grown up with my dad watching it and having recorded almost every episode, but the film looks really good.

Will probably go see it in the next week or so.

yeah. ha people clapped at the end when i went as well. surprisingly good though. Very entertaining. They did a good job. i liked hearing the classic catch phases.

Saw it Saturday night, liked it a lot and is a really good film to start the summer with. Definitely a movie you have to see in a movie theater to fully enjoy. Did anybody see SNL?, the part during weekend update with the cast was hilarious.
