uhh no. you see the LA, its capitalized for a reason. the setting is in Los Angeles and LA is in California, which is not in the South
common sense

yeah me too

anyway, I watched the pilot this weekend and the show seems to have waaaay too many stories and characters going around at the same time. maybe it's the pace of the show that make it seems that way, but they always seems to switch from character to character every 2 minutes.

I honestly think this show has potential. I've always known that Ben McKenzie had acting ability, but it seems he shines best as police-type characters.

And it sucks that there's a ton of police/criminal shows. CSI, Fringe, and the new one, The Unusuals.

There's way too many police shows, but I fucks with this one, castle, fringe (i lobe fringe). I'm not sold on the unusuals yet.

Fringe annoys me because of the main lead's acting. She has the Keanu-syndrome.

I like The Unusuals because it's more a strange, funky twist on police shows.

yeah, it's sorta bad ahah. when you get to see some police shooting people and get like 'hmmm okay, i like where this is going' they switch straight to the detective talking to girls in the interrogation room, it's that pacing issue that i was talking about, it goes up and down all the time.

I can definitely understand.

It sorta separates this show from the others like CSI, where you'll have 20 minutes of one case, but then they'll switch to another case, and you're like wtf?, not remembering what the other case is about.

The pacing has to be fast, like I said, to reflect the LA lifestyle.

But SouthLAnd has a good premise, solid acting.
