well thanks guys i guess ill go buy it online im jus starting out so yea so far from wat i gather 1/100 or 1/144 is best according to opinions so far wat grade would be good to start out with? i built models before jus not gunpla's so any idea where i should start? i saw some PG at a store i went to today but its hella expensive they wanted $230 for a PG series one and it was one of the eariler zaku II's

1/114 = beginner stuff, built in less than 2 hours tops
1/100(MG) = intermediate to fairly complex, can take you from one night to more than a month depending on detail work
1/60(PG) = PRO status, you must know what you're getting yourself into

there are alot of sites posted on this thread for modelkits and tutorials on how to make your kit look pro, also i remember posting a site for custom decals for specific kits.

kool thanks for the advice ill prolly be goin for MG grade considerin ive helped a frend build a non grade one that was kinda eh... lol so once i get one finish ill post xD

anything thats a 1/100 scale would be good.

and for snapping of the parts, use a small cutting plier or ever an exacto knife.

and correction on the 1/100 scales. there are 2 types. Master Grades(MG) and High Grades(HG)

high grades are the less complex versions. Master Grades are the ones that need heavy work on. and they have an inner frame and sometimes require screws

Do you mean decals as in the stickers that come with the Gundam? If you are, everyone pretty much puts those on and it doesn't take much effort. :\

nope the non stickers ones
where you have to use a quarter and rub it on or the water technique I believe
