most gundam 1/100 kits are atleast 6 inches, depending on the mobile suit

I just finished building RG Aile Strike

I LOVE the kit.

but you know the saying "too much of a good thing is bad"?

that goes for this kit, as much as I enjoyed it, the detailing was just over kill on something thats 1/144 scale. i also didn't like the how small the decals were and how many there were so i didn't apply them at all. I only used the separate gold eye ones after painting the clear eye base black. its a solid kit by all means, perfection for the 144 scale.

now its on to the next one, I have no clue what to build first from my zoid backlog.

i'll prolly do liger zero. and I'll mosdef do a WIP. since im gunna paint this ♥♥♥♥♥ proper

going to be fully painted and battle damaged

paints used are all krylon spray paints

paints used
-gloss black
-gloss ivory
-metallic gold
-pewter gray
-anodized bronze



the yucky gold



after paint, looks SOOOOOO much better



just completed the head unit, the build didnt take long, it was just the paint and detailing and dry brushing that took the longest to do. still have to do a bit of detailing







this guys probably gunna take me a while since i only have 2 days of per week and I work ridiculous shifts that leave me to tired to work on kits.

Airbrushes are way nicer than rattle cans that's for sure.

They actually come out pretty good like that, I may try sanding like you said, but I don't have the time to paint individual pieces....I tried that on my 1/100 scale hg deathscythe he'll and its probabl one of my worst kits haha
