I'm interested in why u toy collectors collect and wanted sum info like why u collect?, wat u look for in a toy and other stuff.

istarted collecting caused I missed out on my childhood and I'm just a big ol kid. But then I got into the actually art side of it and I have endless love for it.

co sign to my man above me, im still a big kid at heart. i started purchasing vinyl figures because to me it was a fusion of toys and graff-esque art, 2 things i admire. i dont consider myself a die hard vinyl collector, i just buy what i like and what inspires me creatively , my collection doesnt have 100-300 dollar pieces as most collectors have but that doesnt matter to me. im sure the majority of peoples reasoning to collect is just like asking a sneakerhead why they collect sneakers, or a coin collector and so on...

I collect doraemons. People have different ways to feel like a kid again. That sense of wonderment and awe at having discovered a new addition to your collection...I simply can't feel that way with closing a deal at work. Hahaha! I'm a Kiwi but I'm in the Philippines right now. I order my stuff (toys and shoes) through myus.com. Absolutely efficient mail forwarding service.

in Toronto, Canada we have a channel called "space" and a show called Hypaspace they did an episode about vinyl toys
