this is a draft of a promo flyer i have in the works to promote my beat tape. aiming to get prints and distribute by the end of the year

not trying to hate at all trying to help i promise but...

it just doesnt look right nothing matches the cover of the tape

looks like a summer school type flyer with your cover just sitting there.

you should just use the cover as the flyer with the link in small print on the bottom or something.

something not as busy.

just offering my 2cents!

The green box with the heart looks weird, and the kerning on the bottom letters looks wrong.

A basic rule of thumb with typography is to limit to about 2 typefaces. Now that doesn't mean you can't have more than 2 different fonts. You could use different sizes, 12pt, 24pt, 36pt, etc.. Type weights... Bold, Medium, Light... Try not to have two different san serif fonts or serif fonts. Have one of each, don't double them. Two different san serifs sort of fight each other, because they kinda look the same but they dont.. if you know what i mean.. same goes with serif fonts.
