I'm really looking for a pair of size 33 SEXI04's

However, the 08s are starting to look better. How do they fit in comparision to 04s?

I've never owned SEXI04's, but from pics i've seen and measurements on selfedge I'd say the 04's are a bit more tapered than the 08's. Also obviously longer inseam if you want more stacks or if you're taller.

I have both...but I have a size 31 for the 08s and a 32 for the 04s....so obviously the 08s feel tighter.

In terms of quality though, I'd def go with the 08s.

I got a size 30... using self edge measurement...
waist shrunk to 30"
inseam to 36"
leg opening to 7"

this is my first pair of unsanforized denim... is it normal for the sexi08's to be relatively soft... say compared to like APCs and Skulls?

They're very lightly starched, so the starch is almost gone after the first soak. That's why they feel softed or less stiff, its because of lack of starch treatment as opposed to weight or whatever else.

i hate cell phone fades too but thats not gonna stop me from keeping in the front pocket. it would crack if i sit on it and if i put it in my jacket it would fall out eventually.

if im a 30 in diors mij....would 31 in the sexi08 be fine....the 30s are sold out...i think diors are vanity sized....and the sexi08 should shrink to 31 after hot soak...is that correct? im looking for a similar fit as the diors hopefully a little slimmer..
