Congrats...still haven't received mine, I just requested a refund today, it's been almost two months from my initial order and 11 days after the second attempt through mail.

I know HB doesn't like small questions and all but I'm new to this whole leather goods thing. I just wanted to know some basic tips about leather goods, I know you're supposed to just wear them like raw denim but how about oiling them, what are the benefits of oiling, which oils should I buy, I hear obenauf's is a reputable brand to take care of leather goods but how should I apply as well as tanning them and all that. pretty much what should i do when i first receive my leather good?

oiling should only be done when your leather starts to show some signs of drying imo. the surface has cracks, its brittle, and starting to have dry rot. oiling is a way to prevent that.

and just wear em. treat them like denim.

and tanning is a process turns raw hide in to leather. you cant re tan leather. you can stain it. but staining shouldnt be done if your leather was specifically stained to that color, if its natural (un stained) then appying stain is the same thing as oiling.

but i hear some people SUN tanning their leather, possibly to give it a darker color? and I'm talking about natural leather, so when you say applying stain to natural leather, it's only right to do it when it shows signs of wear and not before wear?

i'm pretty sure corter is one kid that goes to school and runs the business on the side. i know that tanner has multiple people working and is legitimate. i've never heard anything bad about either, but i would imagine tanner would be able to handle more orders, and therefore wouldn't give out refunds for stuff that never got made. than again, i don't konw what happened to you in the first place, so i could be wrong.

Tanner Goods customer service is ehh...

TG forgot to ship my tether along with my belt and it took several e-mails for the customer service rep to understand the situation. He said he would ship the tether along with some coasters apologizing for the mishap. TG forgot to ship the coasters with my tether. LOL. Also they do not send tracking number or invoice. Although they respond quite fast to your e-mails, I'll give them that.

airfred get a 30. I'm a true to waist 31 and I got 32 and its good fit, unless you sag a lot get a 32.

Haha those pics remind me of Kayne and his crew fit picture LOL.

Before i place my order I have a few questions. I have a waist of around 30/31 and am wearing APC NC 30s. I want to purchase this
SKINNY BELT - NATURAL/NICKEL
and wanted to know if a size 32 would be the one i should buy. If it matters I'm fairly skinny at 6'2", 145 lbs.

Also how long do you think it would take for a belt and lanyard to ship?
