Used every day for 3 years, never cleaned or oiled as i don't believe in oiling or cleaning leathers.
(don't tell me why i should be, i know all about it, i don't do it).

-Saddle soap for cleaning
-Leather creme for moisture and natural oil replenishment
-Leather wax for balancing and maintaining color, light water-repellance
Some people prefer leather dressings as they combine the benefits of a cream with a larger proportion of a sealing wax, though its not as effective as using the two separately.
Others like mink oil and neatsfoot oil can be used to soften a firm tempered leather but drown the leather through overuse.

my girlfriend just gave me tanner goods belt for present and dont rly kno bout leathers, but can i just buy any leather wax and creme to put it on?

and do i have to get all tht just to keep it in good shape?

also is it recommended to get it now or later when i broke em in?

That stuff is for basic leather care particularly useful on footwear but not necessary. As Kiya's shown you can go a long while without treating leather and it can still turn out looking great, but regular maintenance is important for longevity.
If you don't see yourself wearing that same belt in say 2 years it's not as big an issue.
I think TG leathers are all still lightly treated and wearable out of the box so you shouldn't need to condition it for a while, but it wouldn't hurt to give the strap a rub down first.

does it matter the brand of oil? this leather store at the outlet had this shit for like 8 dollars to coat leathers and stuff

The composition matters more but if the container doesn't list ingredients try to stick with trusted brands: Kiwi, Fiebing's, Lexol, Montana Pitch Blend, Pecard's are all reliable.

8oz Obenauf Heady Duty LP, I've been using it on my leathers for 7 years or so and I'll always use it. GREAT STUFF!!

What Obenauf leather protection are you guys using? Is it 4oz or 8oz?

when it comes to oiling/conditioning does it matter how much you put on when using a paste material? My closing strap as can be seen at the top of the page cracked a little bit so I decided to throw on some mink oil in paste form onto it. I put on a fairly thin coat for now, but unsure how thick to apply.

Also should I put a coat on the inside of the wallet, like on the back side of the outer piece? Since this is my first leather product of this nature where I have to clean and condition it, I'm not really sure when something should be oiled. The inside is pretty rough feeling, kinda hard.

Just ordered a corter standard utility belt. It's gonna be my first nice leather belt. I just hope i sized right. And if I don't oil or anything will it really affect it that much?

middle, if you're a 30 get a 32!

So If I wanted it to fit on the last hole I would order true to size? I'm thinking about doing this if it's true because I would wear it on the first hole and then as the belt would wear out and stretch it would eventually settle nicely on the middle hole.

been had polo, got me some boots. recommendations on cleaners or protectors? i only ask cause its not the normal smooth leather that's used more commonly on shoes and im wondering if i need a diff rent cleaner

^Suede you mean? If it's suede or nubuck you don't want to use regular oils or stuff like snoseal. It'll totally change the color, texture, and overall look.
