What would you guys pick?

Black or tan lanyard/wallet chain? Preferably whichever goes best with most fits.

Here are my beeswax Clarks' DBs of about a year and 3/4 now. Got them repaired with a neoprene vibram sole last month. White balance on the photo is kinda off but you get it:

and here's a more recent pre/post oil on the same DBs and desert treks:

Has anybody used lexol to oil their products? I'm trying to find oil to get to oil my belt, wallet, and bracelet, but not sure what to get.

eta: how do you guys size on corter belts? I don't remember how I sized on mine and I wanna get one as a gift to someone.

Tanner Goods bi-fold came in a couple days ago.

Some pictures of my first TG wallet I bought awhile back. Awesome wallet, had to retire it early though. The side slots got too loose and my cards kept sliding out.

Lexol looks like some hardcore leather product shit, damn.
I use mink oil. I got a can of it for like $3 from the cobbler I go to. All natural, can't go wrong.

As for Corter belts, you size up one or two.
So if your waist is 30 or 31, you would get a size 32 belt.
I believe a size 32 belt comes punched with six holes and measures exactly 32" from the beginning of the leather near the buckle to the fourth hole.

Hmm I don't have much experience with leather either, still learning haha but lexol seems to be a good conditioning product. As for the mink oil I use some no name brand (I'd rather support my cobbler than pay some corporation) but Kiwi is a great, well-known brand too.

Do you have to oil the corter stuff before wear?

You should ALWAYS treat your leather will something. Whether to prevent it from drying out or protecting it from rain/water/etc. I use Obenaufs or Proofide on all my leather goods.

I want to protect this thing, but want to keep it that light birch looking color as long as possible. I'm worried putting a leather protector on it will make it turn darker brown which I don't want.

Is there a solution or product I can use to keep it the natural color?

I do not have any experience with these products but according to forums and such, Bick 4 or Lexol are two conditioners that do not seem to discolour leather at all.

^ Those look sweet! All the Tanner Cardholders I've seen develop such a nice patina!! Gotta grab one for myself soon.

It seems like a steep price but we all know that these things just get better with age! Also, I'm bounded to these for life because they've got stories to tell, they aren't just another pair of DBs to me :p When they're unwearable, I'll probably tie them up and hang them on my wall!
