H&M denim isn't great, but it's pretty good for the price. I've got a couple pairs...okay cords too.

I work at H&M, the quality of denim isn't amazing i'll agree, but for the price you're paying for it, it's definitely worth the price. Most H&M denim only shrinks about an inch in length after washing, so don't be worried about buying sizes up in fear of shrinkage.

Is the Sliq Denim a skinny fit? and is the leg tapered?

sliq is a slim fit, if you want skinny fits you should go with the squin fit.

Sliq will fit generally like this:

where as squin will fit like this (it's me in the picture)

Sliq jeans will cost around 50 dollars in Canada, I don't know about the states but I've heard 40 dollars, which isn't bad at all for raw denim. They also come in a stone wash.

But drain fits can only be bought in the 'big boy' section of H&M (part of the kids section) and in the kids section denim fits don't go by waist and length they go by age. The largest size would be '14+' (you might be able to squeeze in it if your short, but if you're any taller than 5'5" I wouldn't count on it.

Are you sure it's not one of H&Ms other labels such as divided? Or maybe that it's the sliq ft

I've worked at 2 H&Ms and none of them had drain jeans in the mens section. Only in kids.

No I believe you, you're probably right, I'm just used to working with the products that only the smaller H&Ms have because the one i work in isn't big and we don't get a lot of the cooler and trendier stuff that the bigger ones have.

Naw, I wasn't directing to you if that's what you meant. It was to OhSnap, I know it varies with your legs, and stated my point of view from what you posted of the general fit.

Agreed with this, for little price like this cant expect too much. I recently just bought a pair of sliqs too, feels great for that price.

Agreed; you get what you pay for. H&M, just like GAP or Old Navy, etc...like'em or not, these brands have their place and market. Tons of people buy this stuff. As long as everyone understands what they're getting, then hey...more power!

Personally, I can't bring myself to buy cheap, low quality denim. But that's just me.

I checked out the raw Sliqs today. They're $40.

Do they stretch or shrink?

I tried on size 31, was a little bit tight.
