^first off they arent raw, any jeans tht have a wash can't b raw tht should b obvious. If your gonna start with raw just cop a pair of levis 501xx stf they are pretty self explanatory

they're "selvage" though, so that means they should fade over time through daily wear right?

help me out if i'm wrong

washed denim will take a crap load of abuse to get some fades and chances r they wont fade especially the ones u got linked cuz they r alrdy been bled of its dye, selvage only refers to the weaving of the thread in the denim, has nothin to do with whether its washed or not

if ur slim to average 501's will be pretty generous on ur thighs, I've got big thighs from years of hockey, soccer, and football and they still give me plenty of room

Did they bring back the 1969s? I saw someone the other day in a store who had a pair that looked brand new.. I never knew why they dropped those.

I have a love for gap jeans, although the 'skinny' fit after awhile tends to sag big time from what ive experienced

I have those linked jeans, I got them in TTS because sizing down was too much for me. They haven't streched much at all and I've worn them 12 times but then again I did go TTS and always wear a belt.

I been looking at my Gap for the 1969 selvage and I haven't seen anything. The clearance rack has got the "Authentic Japanese Denim" for 80 bucks. 36x28 smh.

Has anyone purchased or seen the new "skinny" version of Gap's new denim line? I think the cut is called Authentic.

I went on the site and the only skinny fit denim they have are colored. Is that it for their skinny fit?
