In this case, it does. Gap jeans are just not nice.
Mar 04, 2009 @ 19:46
Lol, why would you say that?

Everyone has different tastes and honestly, I think some GAP jeans are pretty dope.
Mar 04, 2009 @ 20:24
Yo, PUR3GEN31US, do you have any non-selvage gap denim? How much did you size down from them in the Goughs?
Mar 04, 2009 @ 20:34
No I don't have any non-selvage gap denim. In all honesty this is going to be my first pair.
Their hopefully arriving in a few days, bought the from a fellow HB member here.

I usually wear 34 but I got 33's and they say they run big so we'll see.

I'll give more info once I receive them.
Mar 04, 2009 @ 22:16
whats the fit like for morrisons? and where do u guys find them, cuz ive never seen them at any gap near me
Mar 04, 2009 @ 22:38
I believe they don't sell these anymore, well from reading the other thread.
Mar 06, 2009 @ 21:51
Received my Gap Denim today and am looking forward to wearin' 'em outside.
The fit isn't really my favorite but hopefully over time it will look better, we'll see.

The fit seems similar to Levis 501s.
Mar 06, 2009 @ 22:08
btw for people who want to buy non-selvadges, the length seems a little longer than what the tag usually says and i wouldn't size up ever because most new jeans they ake are low-rise

and, anybody know how they're corduroys are?
Mar 06, 2009 @ 22:23
size tag 33. sized down one. stretched out to a 36 measured
hemmed from 34, to a 30

these are my old gap gough selvage. not very pricey but really nice for the price. not mines anymore. ;)

its like a low rise straight.

i actually think these are one of the best Gap selvage, Gap has put out.
not to say that gap gough are the shizz, just saying its pretty good for the price.

the leg opening is a bit bigger than the morrisons. which was one of the things that i didnt like.
also when i sagged it looked mad awkward because of the shape of the pockets.

but for the price, smokeyface
Mar 07, 2009 @ 08:29
mjbasilio idk if its the jeans, but u look real short. I think you might have got them hemmed too short, cuz theres almost no stacks, unless u dont like stacks
Mar 07, 2009 @ 08:40
i made the mistake of sizing up for my jeans, thinkin it would be a preppy nerdy tight waist fit
Mar 07, 2009 @ 10:21

They're not a slim/tight fit like most girls here wear. They'd look retarded with a longer inseam on him. Stacks would be wide and all over the place.

yea im pretty short. im 5 feet 7 inches. the leg opening is too wide for stacking.

yes. lol
Mar 08, 2009 @ 00:28
i got a pair of gap slim straights a couple weeks back. i know if i soak them they will go to shit and i know they're going to stretch. but what the fuck they are soft and were only $30. thumbs up.

haha

why are their denims so soft btw
Mar 08, 2009 @ 22:48
cuz most jeans at gap r not raw, meaning gap tries to sand blast teh hell out of them to give them a "worn" look, and its just common sense that the more u wear ur jeans the softer they'll get due to abrasion

I'm sorry that you don't like how I've spent the money that I make. I do have other "better" pairs of denim that you might approve of based on just the price tag...BUT my cheap GAPs fit me the best so I wear them more often, simple as that. Thanks, and have a good day.
Mar 09, 2009 @ 19:49
the elevated standard, japanese selvedge gap raws are incredibly hard to find in canada smh

any recent sightings anyone?
Mar 09, 2009 @ 22:18
the new gap selvedge is dope i recommend ppl to pick up a pair. i had to size up like 2 sizes in the slim fits to a 34 very sick jeans.

they look like shit on you, bruh, but if it makes you feel better..if you had a pair of jeans that was 300 dollars more but fit the same as those id still say they look like shit

gap jeans have no fit..
Mar 17, 2009 @ 09:15
personally i would not buy gap jeans, from my experience they tend to rip pretty easily and their fits are definitely too generic
Mar 17, 2009 @ 15:25
I like the way they fit and they are durable - will last you a long time.

Mar 19, 2009 @ 15:57
