I don't want to put my keys in my pocket because this will ruin the fading process, so i wanted a chain and a carabiner like this one. Does anyone know where i can get the top part of the chain? and the carabiner, not the bulky one, more like the slim one pictured here:

Personally, ditch that 2nd piece (the one seen ataching to the belt loop) and just get a legit carabiner from a hiking/outdoor store that has a gated lock. So basically you can attach and then screw the gate over the closure so that shit ain't going any where. And you know it won't break on you if you're buying something to hold up the weight of a human.

i found this cool one. it was attached to a watchpiece, i just ripped the watch part off and put my keys on it.

Yea, honestly this is the best option for security, and fashion reasons. Because I think it's boderline tacky when cats have big bulky lanyards or whatever hanging off their jeans.
