I have several pairs of N&F. but I will go for 3sixteen this time.

if you like slim fitting jeans not super skinny, the st would be the bomb.

New 3sixteen+ Jeans - Made in Japan

The third in a series of releases by 3sixteen+ we bring you a set of jeans which are fully created in Japan.

The denim and all hardware on these jeans was produced exactly to the specs of 3sixteen+ in Ibara City (Okayama Prefecture) by Kuroki. Kuroki is one of Japan's oldest mills and dye houses which specializes in combining vintage methods of dying and weaving but updating them in heavier styles and pushing the boundaries of weave patterns.

Working together with Kuroki, 3sixteen+ has come up with two new denim styles which we think will impress even the most seasoned Japanese denim fans.

There are two silhouettes, a straight leg and a slim tapered fit, both available in 18oz unsanforized indigo or black selvedge denim.

All four of these jeans are available now at all three Self Edge stores and in our online store. Check the product pages in our online store for hi-res photos, measurements, and more specs and info than you could possibly ever want for a jean.

The st-100x would be closer to the wierrdguys since its a more tapered fit. The leg openings are pretty close but the thighs are just a tad bit smaller in the st-100's

It is not really tapered fit.it is just slim straight jeans

I think its cause they're 18oz compared so the regular 3sixteens

And for the price you're essentially buying a jean that SHOULD cost at least $80 more due to the type of denim and hardware used and the fact that it's cut/sewn in Japan. Once you handle the jean you'll see that it's not your typical $300 jean.

My friend just bought apair of N&F and he hated them so he's returning them and he's planning on getting the ST-100's cuz that's all he can afford.

From what ive read their a solid pair of denim but are there any complaints on them?

Ive had st-100x for almost two years and would definitely recommend them, especially for the price. Solid jeans.

Got my 11bsp's back from getting them hemmed. Kinda wished I got a 34 since I was a 35-36. Might hot soak them again to hopefully get a little more shrinkage out of them. Other than that, I love the material and everything else.

@hndlz: Let me know what size you're considering. I can get a rise measurement for you...

@kurrupt: The Tellason guys are great people and make a solid product. The major difference between our jeans is the textiles. They use Cone Denim from North Carolina - we use a 14.5 oz indigo selvedge that we custom developed with our mill in Japan. If you have a chance to check both jeans out in person, please do. You'll be able to catch some of the differences in the jeans that make each one unique.

thanks andrew, i actually got the tellasons but returned them because i didnt like the fit (too loose), I'm thinking about getting new cures or st-100x because the cut would fit me better since i'm skinny. does anyone know if new cures fit the same as st-100x?
