what brands....why you choose these brand...how to keep the dry selvedge jeans you are wearing from stinking cause your not supposed to wash them for 6 months.

Really feelin' alot of the Levi's 501 from Japan right now. The wash on them are SICK. It's a shame they're only exclusive to Japan!

Still lookin' for those Levi 507 x Clot x Madsaki jeans, those babies are my grails!!

evisu (they aint diesel and the hook stops and stares)
raw selvedge from supreme...how you going to step to streetware giants supreme....too bad their LA staff are supreme jerks. ny staff are iffy but some are pretty decent
loomstates american top shelf denim is up there....

fuck seven jeans....basement fabrics and everything is all bellbottomy

Hear watchu sayin' about quality, if i'm coppin' Levi's it yhas to be LVC.

Edwin jeans are easy to obtain over this side of the pond via Harvey Nichols. Although there's not much variety to choose from atmo (and fairly over-priced at that). Love the cut!

i just got some old 04 maharishi jeans and thereee sweeettt.
i like everything about them, from the pattern printed on the inside, temple landscape stitching on the back pockets and the neat little stash pocket.
plus the fact that my idol, Lupe Fiasco loves maharishi too. :D

damn i need to hustle out some money so i can afford the 06 ones,

any chance anybody in La has some hook ups?

i got these edwins for sale in apparel classifeds if you want ...super cheap....edwins are my fav japanese company up there with evisu.....i dont mess with sugar cane nudie or red money cause they get faked soooooo hard

i got mad edwins for sale if you a small size..my boy is lookign to move his 2005 jeans

selvedge is usually denim done on vintage tight looms which the denim cloth is made in smaller sheets. a process which is more time consuming and expensive and make sa better product. gap jeans and old navy jeans are done as cheap as possible and the denim wears out really fast or stretches or both. really bargain basement stuff. the dye they use is low quality...everything on it is mad so you break them in 10-14 months

selvedge is a quality product. levis selvedge go for mad cash on ebay.

raw and dry is usually reffered to selvedge denim thats denim made on tight looms and dyed all crazy deep and rich indiglo. then cut up and sewn into jeans and packed and shipped. no bleach no distress no anything ....raw. 100% virgin denim stiff as a board. you wear it constantly for 6-9 months and it will be crease and personalize to you. its the ultimate....not old it is mad cash but its mad upkeep. 6-9 months before your first wash. but you get rewarded with wiskers and distress that matches your creases and a pair of jeans thats 100% perfect for you

intense right? raw selvedge is like 200-400 easy....depending on brand. 9 months wihtout washing creates special upkeep methods. theres dudes who put theirs in the feezer to get rid of smells and tape up the cuffs from getting the dye on their sneakers. baking soda to get out smells and stains

or you can get 20 dollar old navys and toss them in with your whites and toss them in the garabge when you run thru them

raw/dry denim has nothing to do with selvedge denim...it just happens that alot of raw/dry denim is also selvedge...

you can get raw/dry denim for like 30 bucks from like levis, or h&m, etc...

and that whole 6+ months shouldnt be something you take to seriously...ive seen jeans that look gorgeous with even 1-2 months wear...it all depends on how you wear them..

and ALL denim stretches..not just gap and old navy...you can expect your jeans to stretch around 2 inches if you wear them for good month or two without wash...

paper denim, still love the feel first pair i tried on back in the day sealed the deal, lately thou the washes and cuts have been disapointing and i think dude is more focused on his other line. still love it tho

red ear, i like the selvege shits they have and some of the regs, paul smith jeans dont really get me tho still this isnt too shabby and the prices are pretty nice imo.

edwin, awwshit hooked me up with a pair ,shits are mad nice i wear em alot around town good feel to em u know. might get some more but i have like 10 pairs of jeans so once i run through my beatemups il get more

gold sign- iv only tried these on once but i really like em for some reason kindah like paper byt ust feeel hella soft. no luck finding them tho as i always see womens and hardly ever mens(besides revolve)
outside of that i like armani and ice jeans still, they are heavy and less comfy but some of the washes are sick to me
stepping down to the day to day shit i love Pepe, from across the ocean, nice washes good feel mostly, unless u buy them here at the 'urban' store or department where they are hella gimped with fake ass patches and off bleaching.
if im doing work like painting or moving shit i grab the kani s. 20, light, semi durrable and u wont be mad that u got em dirty.

but levi i got somekindah complex about not wearin dunno y

Evisu(mostly the old italian models, and some japanese ones. im not into those that are reaaaally loud and fucking ugly)

i am, of course talking about brands that are mainly based on denim products. Visvim, surrender and neighborhood also have a very nice few pairs of jeans.

sevens go both ways...i think their good shit is really good but their normal market macy joints are like mass produced and dont have the "love" a smaller brand might have for their jeans
