Here's my history on APC's.

My first APC NS. Copped in 09. Bought a used one from ISS. Seller NEVER told me he hemmed to 30.'
Tag 30. Szed down 0.



After this horrendous disaster, i did research and found out i had to size down.
Copped APC NS. Tag sz. 27. Szed down 2.



Now it's Nov. It's been about 1 year and 3-4 month.



I want to try out new brands but my $ ain't right for it as of now.
Prob. gonna cop some PS by the end of this year. I will post pics.

I thought I'd share my APC fit pics. Hopefully they will answer questions about fit and comparison to other brands (Nudie Slim Jim and some dior). For reference, I think I'm a true 27-28 waist.



APC New Standard, 26

Of the 6 pairs I have, these are definitely the baggiest. They're loose overall in the top block and have the widest leg opening. Very comfortable. Not a fan of the baggy rear though. These are for sale btw-- come get them!

APC New Cure, 26

Slimmer all the way down. Tighter in the top block, thighs, knees and has a narrower leg opening. The leg opening actually flares out very slightly from the knee.

APC Petite Standard, 26

Tried to size down to 25. failed.

Dior 19cm, 27 **hemmed

Regrettably, I hemmed off 7" of inseam. The 19cms are quite tapered and since I hacked off 7", the leg opening here looks a bit baggy. Anyways, they're still my favourite pair. Very fitted top block. inseam could make for some pretty insane stacking.

Dior 17.5cm, 27

Tapered down PS-style. 17.5cms are a bit special since they don't have a raw variant. Regardless, a pretty incredible cut, if you can pull it out.

Nudie Slim Jim, 29

Similar to the NS. I find that these are slimmer in the leg opening and they don't have that "diaper" effect that the NS has. I'm saying this even after sizing up 1 on these. Denim seems lighter weight than the NS, however.

apparation, I'm just curious: what about the Dior do you like over the PS. You say you like the fit, but don't say much about how the PS fit you. I think the PS look pretty good!

The PS fit is pretty awesome but I haven't gotten around to wearing it as much since I'm working on my NCs. I can say, though, that the PS fits very much like the dior 17.5cms but the PS is even more tapered from the knee down to the leg opening. The seat is a lot more "roomy" than an equivalently sized NC, which makes it more comfortable.

Personally, I much prefer the rear fit (darting on the ass) and pockets on the diors more than any of the APCs I have. the quality of the denim is a lot better also on the diors.

That being said, the PS is definitely my most favourite of the APC styles and is one I recommend to the skinny ones. ;)

Alright I don't want to sound like the noob here considering I have two pairs of APC's a NS and a NC. But Im wondering, Im a super slim build, and I want a good skinny. My new standards are beat to shit and I like the fit of NC's until the bottom where it flares out a bit, The whole leg is perfect but I can't stand the hem. So my question is, do I go for the Petit Standards for a straight up and down look? And how much to size down?

Comparison of my 26 PS to my 28 NS:




I know most here will disagree with me, but I like the TTS NS a lot more then the PS. Skinny guys like me can't pull off super tight jeans like the PS. Plus, the leg opening on the PS was really small, to the point of I couldn't get them off.

What is wrong with the fit as of now is because they are still very hard, the stacks are weird, causing some of the fabric to bunch up and look much baggier then they are.

They are actually the same measurement as all my chinos so once they soften up and I get them hemmed they will look a lot better.
