The thigh and everything else are good. My real waist is 35 and I got 33's. I thought downsizing 2 would be enough.

and I'm not trying to be a douche either, but the Official APC thread is 600 pages long. And the entire thread is people all saying different things. Some say to take your actual waist measurement while others say to take the measurement of your best fitting pair of jeans. And then with the downsizing, everyone has a different opinion on whether it should be 1, 2, 3 or some even say 4. So its pretty confusing and overwhelming to someone who is looking for their first pair of raw denim. And when a noob asks for help from you guys, some of you jump down our throats for not knowing that the answer to our question was posted 285 pages ago.

^ i feel you, can't really argue that because its true.
just wanna say dont do this trial and error with denim, wasting time.
u said ur 5'6", 160 llbs right? no way your a 35 waist.
im 5'8" 160, im a 31 waist. no way ur 4 sizes up and weigh 160. and you said u could fit into 33 diesals.
i'd say ur true waist is 32, so you should've gone 31/30 on the NC.
thats just my opinion b, no hate, i should've said something before u ordered.

^ i feel you on that, i cant really argue it either b/c its true.
i would like to help you, but with all do respect, no way ur a 35 true.
i weigh the same amount as you but im 5'8", my true is 31, you cant be 4 sizes more then me.
judging 33nc wasn't right, i'd say ur true is 32 maybe even 31 since i wouldnt say im skinny.

just go to a place and get measured correctly, dont waste ur time with this trial and error stuff b.

general rule of thumb for

NS: size down 2 for slim, 3 for skinny if youre an average sized guy
NC: size down 1
PS: size down 2? from what i know, i don't remember much about PS lol but people generally size these like NS

and depending on how skinny you are you can work better with different fits

for my body type personally my calves dont even fit the NC, and I sized down 2/3 on my NS and they fit me pretty good imo... though i dont sag too much, from what i felt the thigh/calf didnt give too much, mostly its the waist that stretched.. thigh maybe an inch or so but everything else stayed pretty much the same

So the size 33 New Cures didn't work for me (they are for sale in case anyone is looking) I am going to get New Standards next. If the 33 waist was too loose, the 32 would probably fir perfect but i should get 31 so they are snug to allow for stretch, correct? Or does the sizing for NS differ from NC?

if they're comfortable then just wear em

depends on how thick your legs are really.. i mean if the waist fits and the leg fits then just keep em

if the legs are OD tight, like women tight then i would suggest PS if you still want the skinny look or NS if you dont want OD tight

I have a quick question...

Im a true size 32 in everything that I wear. I plan on buying APC NS sz 30. Im wondering will the thigh and calf area stretch out a little making it more of a baggy look than a skinny jean? Thanks in advance!
