PBJ XX-007 back from the dead:

these are sick, really like the deep indigo. heard they were releasing 007 denim in an xx-011 cut sometime in the near future, would definitely be interested if i didn't already have a pair of 013s and some sammies on the way. just something to think about for prospective buyers.

yea, i'm like 20 mins South of DC. I still haven't found the stores name. But i do remember reading that they carry some Jap. denim. LHT is just the way the denim is woven, most jeans are right hand twill. If you were to look at your jeans holding them in front of you, you will notice the denim pretty much runs from the top right down to the left. LHT is just the opposite and is suppose to have a smoother/softer feel.

this might be the site you were thinking of, but i'm afraid they're located in berlin.smh unless you were referring to an actual brick and mortar store, then just ignore me. though i'm pretty sure blue in green is the only retailer for pbjs in the US

Those look great. Thinking about picking up the 007's soon. I'm a size 32 though. Once I try a pair on in the store in a few days i'll let you know if i'm interested in that size 31

No, they pretty much just did the presoak for you.

^I was wondering that too, so good to know. I'm looking to pick up either the 011's or 013's soon, but I'm at school living in the dorms so I have no way to really do any type of soak. In that case should I just go with the one washes or can the raw version be worn without soaking?

If you get the unsanforized pair without doing a presoak, the denim will shrink a lot and the fades will be off and the fit will change.

I tried on a pair of the XX-007 this weekend and the guy in the store told me pbj just made a new model which is the 007 but a slimmer opening at the bottom and they should be getting them in the next few weeks. Anyone else hear about these?

Yo hit up superfuture, and reach the denim sub forum. You'll find more info there/more knowledgeable people bout pbj

Hey guys,

New to the site today, and was looking through everyone's posts. I'm really loving the look on the xx-09's right now, but I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere...   BiG doesn't have that model in stock, and I don't think that PBJ will ship outside of Japan (I could be wrong).  I'm in need of a size 38 and can't seem to find any vendors with that size. Does anyone here know of a shop/site that stocks that size?

Thanks in advance

Trying to decide between two pairs of jeans:
PBJ xx 013
http://blueingreensoho.com/site/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=14291&category_id=&manufacturer_id=9&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=53
vs.
Samurai 710xx.

I am a TTS 32" and wear 31" jeans normally, currently looking to buy the 31 Raws that measure 32.5". Im hoping they will stretch back out after the presoak, as the raw 32" measuring 34" I feel would be too big, since I dont think they would shrink 3 inches to a 31, and even if they did, im sure it would stretch back out.

As for the SAMS, im worried about having a hard time fading through the 19oz, even though i know that sams are probably better than PBJs in terms of a most well rounded product.

Let me know what you think guys.

You won't have a problem having a hard time fading through the 19ozs. I've owned XX-005's and the 710s n by far i loved the fit and fades of my 710s

PBJs will be a lot tapered and slimmer just fyi. If you worry about having a hard time fading on any raw denim, you're not in the right hobby my friend.
