sams fit a bit looser because they taper lower. theyll fade faster too.

005s are slimmer and slubby. also, lighter weight making them more comfortable.

my pair of tapered 005's at about two months.

-upper block is a little baggy/weird fitting, but from the knee down is pretty perfect.
-slubbiest denim on the market IMO - more than samurai - they're soft as fuck.
-if it matters, these are the OG model with the blue tab/selvage, not that ugly leaf.

i'm getting a 005's one wash. my waist is 30" around the belly button and i rocked 32 on LVC 55 501. what would be the best fit for me? are these low rise so i gotta measure my waist around the hip bone?
and i'm 5'6", should i shorten them?

4 months in...and some change..
xx005 size 29...i sized down
1 hot soak at the start...about a hr long
no wash since then...don't plan to for long ass time

I want a slim fit look, which is why I figured I should size down 1. Also to accomodate future stretching.

well if u want a super slim look then go for it but i suggest just going with true to size. Ive read a lot about sizing down on PBJs is a bad idea. As well as having them myself, i wish i went true size but went up a size due to impatients of them not having my size.
