It is unsanforized, so it will shrink when you soak it unless you buy the one-wash. But I looked at the sizing charts again, and you are right, the 28 will probably be better.

I don't mind it at all. I had new cures before, and going into 005 was fine. I don't have any leg flare at all, but I did wear mine when they were slightly damp and I got all the stacking right.

Depending on what size you are, if you are talking about going from a 7" leg opening to an 8" leg opening, you will definitely notice a difference. It will take some getting used to at first, but when I went from slim fit jeans to loose fit, it was odd at first but I like the fit better. The one thing is that the wider the leg opening is the more messy the stacks tend to be.

The PBJ cut closest to the APC PS is probably the XX-005. The XX-007 and XX-010 have the same cut as well.

The PBJ cut closest to the APC PS is probably the XX-005. The XX-007 and XX-010 have the same cut as well.

i think that the Pure Blue Japan XX-013 are closer to the apc ps, wider thighs and tight taper

I'm bout to cop the 005 since that's pretty much the only ones I can afford. These are gonna be my first raw denim so can you guys tell me what to expect? I've read that the 005's are slim with a bigger leg opening and that I have to soak them in hot water to shrink or cold water to have them stay the same for an hour. Anything else I should know?

^seems like u got everything pretty much down. but yeah the leg opening is pretty damn big, had to taper mine.

As far as I know, BiG will hem but not taper jeans, so you'll have to find someone on your own. If there is no one local to you that can do this, try Denim Doctors at the Hollywood Trading Company. They do a great job, and they accept mail-ins.

Plenty of PBJs come raw. I think more of their models are available raw than one-washed.

^i was able to size down 2 on them and they feel baggy on me. i sagged them a lot though. im pretty sure sizing down 1 would be fine

I'm about to pull the trigger and buy the 005's in 32 but my only concern is why is the inseam so long? the inseam on my levis is only 32 and the 005's are all 37's. I'm 6'2 so is it going to be too long on me?

My 005 shrunk to 34.5 after a soak, which should be good for you if you're 6'2

Wow thats a big shrink...how much did everything else shrink? cuz the 32's are only a little bit longer on every measurement than my levi's besides the inseam.
