i personally think i wouldn't have liked it more if it was longer, the stacking would've been messy as the hem isn't as narrow.

I finally got myself some 501xx STF and they're dope.
Tried 'em on and they fit perfectly! At the moment they are in the tub getting soaked, 30 min. hot soak.

Hopefully they'll be good after the soak.

if they fit perfect pre-soak, they are not gonna fit right post. it's STF, most people size up and soak to get the good fit.

Are you sure?
Because they fit pretty good, not to tight or loose pre-soak and it felt great and after the soak it shrunk to the perfect fit but it stretched out a bit, so now its a bit loose but perfect nonetheless for sagging :] Loving my pair, thinking about getting another one.

I just picked up a pair of the Capital E Rigid Matchsticks, even though the are sanforized and aren't raw I think I'm going to throw them in the tub for a hot soak.

Nice nice, thanks a lot deltaT.

@Phoenix_0217 - I agree with you though, if you like them then that's all that matters. All to their own, lol. But yeah, maybe later on post some fit pics again :].

You can try macys, kohls, urban outfitters, levis.com, or any other place that sells levis.
Not sure what model number is a slim fit, all I know is Levis Slim Straight (514).

Slim fit's are 512, I have only seen them once in a gift shop at SF. The more common fit is the 511 skinny cut and you could size up if you want a bigger knee/leg opening since the thighs are pretty roomy to begin with!

@ Phoenix - jeans are turning out great.

As far as the inseam goes, maybe just don't cuff 'em and let them stack a little more, but all in all I like. Can't wait to see after the wash.

Found some Levis 512 online!!

www.langstons.com/levis-jeans-512-005120235.html
www.denimexpress.com/levimen512.html

Price isn't bad.

I've got 512's, the fit is great, but the denim is pretty soft. Still good jeans, and they're cheap too.

511 - Skinny Jeans
514 - Slim Straight

how do you explain the fit difference because i have both and i think i cant get the right fit cuz im tall but skinny. usually get the loose looking fit on both.

skinny means they hug ur legs in almost all places, meaning its tapered to b tighter around the bottom
Slim straight means slightly more looseness, but the bottom is either not tapered or minimally tapered and will not be tight around ur calves unless u have insanely large calves

cbk explained it well, really not much to add on my part.

I have a pair of 514s and remember to look at the material it is made of, I have one that stretches (98% cotton and 2% Lycra) and another pair with 100% cotton.
The one with the lycra stretched and fits loose on me but I like the fit of it better then the 100% cotton.

But yes, 511s are tight and tapered. 514s are usually more roomy and give more breathing room.

^ If you like how 514s fit but want a more form-fitting fit, you'll love 511s. 514s are weird as fuck to me though, and it isn't because I'm a twig.

personally i think 514s r the perfect levis fit, but thts cuz i love the slim straight leg look and feel kinda wierd when i wear skinny jeans

I cannot really comment on the personal fitting of 511s, since I have never used them.
But since I have bigger thighs and more athletic legs I found a great fit with 501s.

All I have to say if you want the best experience is to just go to a Macy's, Kohls, or wherever they sell Levis and just try them on.

Great fit Ant!
