The more appropriate question is, WTF is he wearing those "watermelon" jeans for.

yes, they are black not blue. However if you check a couple pages back, I posted a small collection of 511s and the dark blue ones are in the middle.

Size 29x30, and I hot soaked these to begin with and saw shrinkage. What I meant was, they don't smell bad or anything so I won't be soaking or washing for a while. The plan was, hot soak to begin with, then every 4-5 months a wash or a soak.

damn dude, try formulating your sentence better. If people don't understand what you're saying, you're not gonna have a very good chance of getting helped.

im thinkin of 501's, my regular jean size 32x32, i'm like 6'0" 145, so i am fairly skinny but i do have kinda muscular calves and thighs from all the track i used to run back in school..so would 501's be best?

i'm 5'4 130. The best thing to do is try them on. I could have easily sized down 1 for a slimmer fit. They would've been tight for a week at most but these stretch quick. Try 31x32 as a starting reference and size down (or up) accordingly. If it's somewhat tight presoak, you got the right fit. And im not saying size down to the point where you can't button, you're gonna want to be able to close presoak.

501s are pretty universal cut. I've seen someone size down to an almost skinny fit, mine fit regular/slim, and ive seen baggy. If you're skinny, you can def size down. Take the advice i gave alberto: Try before you buy

Some update on my Mynudies 501 contest pairs. 76 total days of wear, 3 months in. Not even considering a soak yet, these babies are no where near. The honeycombs are turning out to be a REAL slow wear area for me.

i was talking about these

i wanna see a fit pic with these on

Okay, Now i get the reason why people soak their jeans instead of washing them and 6 months wait period before the first soak (thanks to some of you who answered my questions!). Now what happens if you accidentally spill something on your jeans within the 6 months waiting period? How would you clean your jeans? Also if you hot water soak instead of washing them, how do you actually clean your jeans? thanks guys!
