i still wear my 505s, they are prety damn comfortable for me. 514s i dont like em at all, they are tighter and the leg opening is even bigger than 505s.

513 and 511 are pretty much the same thing i think. If they are too baggy then size down? If they are nut hugging then size up? It cant be that hard lol

Just copped a pair of 510s from urban. since levi's "rigid" are raw, do they fade and also does the waist stretch as much as higher end raws (in the waist).

The 510 rigid isn't raw. the rigid stretch is wayy different then raw denim. but to answer your question, its yes and yes. The rigid stretch will stretch just like any other 510 and they do discolor after washes

Alright... another question for you guys. I've always been a conservative dresser (meaning wearing whatever my loved ones bought for me, which usually means older relatives). But for some reason, I've always wanted a pair of white jeans. I've mustered enough courage to buy a pair of white Levi's 514. I really like the look, but I've been getting some mixed feedback.

Guy friends tell me that they think it's too strong (kinda gay), female friends like it and don't think it's gay at all but told me not to wear it after Labor day. But I am digging the look and want to wear it now! The white is so easy to match, which helps because I have a limited selection in my wardrobe. One comment that really cracked me up was that I looked like a half peeled banana (I matched it with a yellow polo shirt). What are your thoughts on all this?

Below is a pic of me wearing it with a yellow polo shirt. Sorry about the bare feet!

Anyone who says something looks "kinda gay" is too afraid of what people think. Those are the kind of people still wearing jeans 2 sizes too big

TBH the cheap "rigid" jeans they make blow pretty hard. They fade way too fast and look pretty shitty. Not to mention that after a wash the indigo is all splotchy and weird looking. They stretch pretty noticeably too.

Looking good for 2 months. Keep it up.
They must fit pretty tight for the crotch to wear so soon.

You can simply reinforce them. I'd do it asap. Prevention is key.

Ight this might be kind of a weak question, but I am looking for a recommendation. I've been wearing 501's but recently, they've grown to be too baggy for me. I have 511 skinny khaki's and I love the fit. Looking to cop a pair of denim ones that are similar. Would 511 denims run true? Any other style built similar? What's a good pair to invest in? I'm sort of a denim noob.

@yk-2 Yup, mine stretched quite a bit.

EDIT- Found out his wash was "River soaked"

Anywho, my friend bought a pair of Levi's Water>less Selvedge (same as I) from Nordstrom Rack *TODAY* and his pair looked really different from mine. Can anyone explain why?
HE GOT HIS TODAY.
Pics
His: Left Mine: Right

His pair had some creases on the knee and a knee buldge. Mine had nothing when I purchased mine.

His pair had somewhat faded honeycombs, when mine didn't

Detailed combs (NOTE: HE BOUGHT HIS TODAY AND THEY'RE FADED COMBS)

His pocket is bigger and his stitching has more arc.

His patch is of a different material

Detail [(His) (Feels really stiff compared to when I first purchased mine)]

Detail (Mine)

We were just wondering why they were so different.
