Hey guys,
I just bought two pairs of the Nike x Levi 511 skateboarding jeans and i just want to know if I should wash them before I wear them. Should I just wear em out first? Thanks

Here are the jeans I was talking about earlier. Went to go try them on today and might pick them up. They're a really light blue, kinda like a baby blue or maybe a little grayish. They have a nice weight to them and are pretty stiff...stiffer than APC's.

$59 RAW Made-in-USA Levi's 501s, 511s, and 505s at HauteLook today. (Sale lasts til Thursday apparently, but they tend to sell out quickly.) I can't imagine these will last long so grab a pair or three while you can.

$200? Levis good and all, but personally, I would get either APC, N&F, Baldwin, 3sixteen, Rogue Territory... etc. There's many brands within that price point.

Is 511 > APC? Hard question, cause I've never owned APC, nor selvedge Levis.
If you love the 511 fit, then I recommend getting the Levis. Quality will be good, it's Levis after all, and you'll know exactly how it'll fit.

The fit on matchsticks is pure piffery.
On the denimzzz,they're eh...get a darker color....

that one is selvedge doe. i checked nordstorm but all i saw were the match sticks but no selvedge match sticks. also that place is always full of old hawaiin shirt wearing men lol

Matchstick is just a different fit, kind of between 513 and 511.

hey havent posted here in a while
just took some pictures yesterday of my first levis 501 stf in black. I soaked it once, thought it was pretty baggy around the ass so then i soaked it again but made no difference. I guess its already shrinked as much as possible. Ive only worn it about 10 times, i keep wearing shorts or other jeans lol. Here are some comparison pictures from when i got them and how they are now. What do you guys think of the fit? Next pair of raw denim, im gonna try out weird guys from naked and famous razz

Well then, buy a pair online. If you can't find the matchstick fit, look for a different fit that you like.

they're like 508s but more taper. You think the color is nice for a selvedge denim. theres a 20% code right now idk if i should cop or not cause im not familiar with gray raw selvedge denim

also anyone have pics of them wearing the raw selvedge mtachsticks?

also also is it a good idea to get stacks on trousers or are they suppose to be shorter?
