Has anyone had luck with the selvedge 514's? I just picked a pair up the other day

i have a pair. im assuming you mean the raw ones? had em for a year proly like 7-8 months of wear though. they dont fade very well since theyre more of a straight leg than slim
any of you guys have success with the matchsticks?

hey.
i hate that straight leg 501 style, but in 511′s my legs look too skinny to me (upperleg..)…
what levi’s could be the right one for me? a tapered leg one?

No get 513s. 514s have a wider leg opening than 501s. I dont know why it's advertised as slim when it is far from it.

Yeah I don't really like the 514s.
Try out the 513 or "Slim Tapered".

In case anyone is interested, I have a pair of 501 shrink to fit in raw indigo for sale. It was hot soaked/hang dry and worn only for 1 day to a KIA dealership and to a Magic The Gathering draft. I love the denim fabric and color, but the fit isn't flattering on me. It is tagged 31x34, but measures 32x31.5. It has a 8in leg opening across hem. Still pretty stiff. Will let go for cheap. Message me smile thanks!

btw 521 are also known as slim tapers... they're on the site but they just didnt label them as 521 for some odd reason

All denim will fade. But someone posted some faded 511 rigid dragons that looked good. Go for it and post up some pics in several months! They probably wont fade as fast as Samurai's and Pbj and those other high end companies tho
