thx bro. but i did two hot soaks, then i took them to the tailor and got them done.
I'm saying go further. I haven't had mine that long - But I was forced to wash them. the whiskers on mine are already coming in though from hard wear but the combs I feel the leg is too loose for them to set in. I think I'm going to start a new pair next week and size down.

EDIT: I'm buying a new pair now, should I get 38 *38 or should I do 38*36.


how tall are you? im 6'2" and i got a 38x36 some times i wish i would of got 38's.

I'm 6'3 I picked up the 38's - The worse that can happen is I get a lot of stacks or I have to get it hemmed. I'm not too concerned since it has a narrow opening at the bottom.

hey guys i went to sears yesterday, they seem to have a pair of ridged 511's, they seem to be raw and more still that the soft ridged 511's, ill take pics of them once i get em

That's cool part of levi's they brought the raw denim to a ton of stores you wouldn't think would carry raw.

What do 511's look like when they stretch out? I love the slim fit of the 514's, but hate them when they become stretched and baggy. When I try on 511's they're a bit skinny; if I wash them and wear them in, will they stretch to somewhat resemble the slimness of the 514's? Or will they still be skinny

these are 511 rigids. i got them at a pac sun, but they discontinued the wash. it had green inseams and fit like sex.

Dang, Got the 38*38's today. I went TTS, I wonder how much these will shrink. These ones are made in Haiti, and are by far my favourite pair. They are a lot tighter, the arcs in not as sloppy as the mexican ones I had before. BUT the waist measures to a 37. Not a 38.

How much will these stretch? I'm obviously going to shrink them this weekend though.

I've had these for about 14 months now I think. I don't know how much total wear. I think they're at 2 washes and 1 or 2 soaks (not including the initial.)

This is no joke. I'm about a week in on some rigid 511s and everything above the knees now fit like my 501s (except the waist)...

TTS(true to size) waist. up 4 for stacks.
slimmer fit size down 1 for waist.

Anyone know where to find 501xx LVC in Miami/Sofla? Or online maybe? If I'm a 32 waist and relatively tall (6'1"), should I stay with 34" inseam, or try to find a 36" as they will shrink down 2 inches.

Go with the 36's. Im 6'1 too and i made the mistake of gettin 34's. They shrunk to a 31 inch inseam and looked like high waters
