i usually wear slim straights but since they dont have the breaker grey color in those. how does the slim straigts compare to the 511s im not tryin to have them super tight would they fit fine if i stay true to size 30? and also is the cuff small or is it big enough to overlap a pair of dunks thanks

511's are slightly slimmer in the leg and thigh compared to 514s. The cuff is fairly small and will slightly overlap a pair of dunks. If you want a similar fit to 514s and overlap dunks, just get 501 STFS. 501s STFS have so many colors.

A 34 would be fine. They are not too slim. I stay true to size when I buy 511s and I'm a little heavy.

thanks a lot man.

I got a different experience with 511s. I'm a true 31 and sized up to 32 and still can't fit 511s. It's way too tight especially in the thighs.

Also Striker you asked about 501 fit but slimmer in a thread I removed. I suggest hunting down some 1947s. Either the LVC or the reissue if you can find it. LVC would be more expensive, but it is a slimmer 501 fit. The reissue will be cheaper since its not part of the LVC line, but the fit is pretty close to the same.

thanks for the tip sonny, haha, and yeah i was looking for the thread, but thanks man.

my matchsticks, i'm a bigger dude and am pretty happy with these jeans. it's been really hard to find a tapered jean that doesn't fit skin tight everywhere. i may pick up a pair to keep away for when these bite the dust.

I have a pair of 510s and 511s. The 510s are a somewhat skin-tight. They can be loose depending on how you wear them, how you size when buying them, and after gradual wear because they stretch.

You also get free shipping on your first order if you sign up for the newsletter. There's also this code: FB040110 for 15% off, but it doesn't stack with the free shipping, so choose whatever makes your order cheaper!

I believe it's the difference in color. The stretch version will be more greyish blue, meanwhile the tumble version will be more blackish blue. I'd go with the stretch version. It looks much better considering I have own 2 pairs before.

Depending on how you want them to fit, size up 1 or 2. I would personally size up only 1.

i'd love a pair of slev 501's but with me wearing a 38 waist, the leg openings are way to big on 'em. i think i may scoop some up and have them tapered.

Hey guys. I've recently purchased a 501xx STF selvage 32x34. I usually wear a 32x30. I plan to wear about an inch cuff with these jeans.

The jeans are a little baggy at the moment and I was wondering should I soak them now so they fit? Or should I break them in a little (6 months of wear) before I soak? Are there any benifits to wearing them for a while before soaking?
