Ya I sized down 1 and I still got massive knee bulge. Just wear them consistently.

Look fake to me. The multi-colored stitching only leads me to believe that they are recent 501 model. Any recent Levi's selvaged 501's use a red-lined selvage denim. The stitching also looks a bit shoddy, leather patch looks off, and the denim itself doesn't look like any kind of Cone denim that the 501's have been using recently.

I got the STF 501 at size 36x34.. im normally a 34.5x32 to fight snuggly and for the legs to just hit my shoe.
I got to say, after shrinking it, it feels perfect, and it looks great. i would size 1.5 up in the waist if you want a true fit.

You'll be fine, simply wearing the jeans=fading. Time, activity, and fit all account for the process, so if you don't see results immediately, don't worry.

they fade when you wearem then when you wash em they get more of a contrast fade

i got a pair of STFs in clearance at macys for 14$ haha. i took them to the tailor and got them tapered to fit like 511s and theyre amazing lol. the fades are already looking pretty epic. theyve got about 6 months of wear now. i recommend doing this if youre looking for better fitting STFs

i dont remember the exact measurements. its not that difficult, if you have a slimmer pair of pants that you like the fit on, take them to the tailor with your STFs and have him measure and fit the STFs to your liking. it should only cost ya like 20$

and mine fit tighter down the legs with the leg openings are a lot slimmer. they no longer go over my auths haha. wish i had a camera to post evo and fit pics :\

For the STF's, are you guys using the sizing guide right on the tag, or did someone come up with their own?

I think the tag for my waist size and inseam said to go up 1" on the waist and 3" on the inseam, which would probably end up being 36x35 or 36x36, which of course are nowhere to be found on the shelves.

saddlemans are lvc, their just predistressed. saddlemans are the 1947 cut, which is similar to fit of stf's, but they have a smaller taper, which will make them fit a little slimer. there also selvage like any other lvc's. if you get raw lvc's there many different cuts to chose from.

going to buy some STF 501s in raw and black today. i wear a 34 waist but gonna size up to 38x34 and soak them. i only rock the baggies so gonna see how loose they are after soaking, if too lose gonna return the fuckers haha.
