But, if my waist size is a true 31" & I want a slim/fitted fit on some STF's, how should I size?
Size up 1" or stay TTS?

I didn't say they were too tight. I said they were perfect
The reason I wear 511's is because Im super skinny.

Those 520's fit him nicely

dont wash or dry in the washer/dryer

I don't own a pair, but I have seen someone with a pair on. They are pretty nice. I recommend buying them.

^^wearin those as i type. fit/quality wise their the same as the khaki twills that everyone wears their just brown. i sized up 1 and got a nice slim but tapered fit.

i know that, it's just that i'm really anxious to bring out the fades. but i'll probably keep going for about 7 or 8 months

lol what do you expect. theyre 50 dollar jeans.. ive been using my 511's daily except when i go out for about 3 years and still barley got any fades.

I need some help from the experts on this thread. So I finally purchased my first 501 STF yesterday. I went with 32x34 (My regular size is 32x32), I hot soaked my jeans for about 45 mins and wore it outside to play basketball after drying them for about an hr. Now I still think my jeans are too long, which caused my jeans to sit near my ankles and created crease down there instead of honey combs on the knee area. I thought they are supposed to shrink about 2 inches and end up as 32 but it didn't. what did i do wrong here? was my water not hot enough? or I need to soak them again for longer period this time? I will really appreciate any kind of help. Thank you!

So yesterday i copped a pair of 501 stf's, and i hot soaked them last night for 35-40min, then dried overnight. They resulted in being a little more fitting but still not my ideal fit and way more stiff than theyre supposed to be. So to shrink them again do i just hot soak again today? if so for how long? thanks in advance
