i got a pair of 501 stfs sized up 1 from my regular size and they fit huge, do the thighs shrink a lot?

After the shrinking process, the 501's are straight-fit. You won't have to worry about any part of the jeans being too tight.

just getting into denim and wanted to start off with stf 501s
wanted to know the differnces in washes whats verde rigid and rigid indigo whats the differnce?
also if i wanted to develop stacks do i get a longer inseam?

Usually after I soak I should put them on damp correct?

Should I still do so when I'm going to get them tapered or should I just let them dry without putting them on then get them tapered

I'm planning on stacking also

assuming your talking about stf
indigo rigid is just plain indigo dyed

as for the verde rigid it has a green color to it

Went from 36" inseam to 34", and from 9" taper to 8.3".

Yep those are 514 imprints. I picked em up in the summer but I didn't wear them too much cuz of heel drag and sloppy stacks, so I got them hemmed and tapered slightly and now I love the fit. Yep they are raw, they are being marketed as "super fast fading" raw denim - and a week in with lap fades alrady starting up it definitely doesn't fade slowly.

They are real nice so far. There is some fading starting up, and the color it fades to seems kinda weird, but we'll see after some more wear.

anybody have experience with saddlemans? i bought a pair of 33s with a 34 waist and people say that a tagged 33 should have a 32 waist...i'm unsure now if i should buy a 31 or 32. how much does each pair stretch?

you can just buy cut-offs or you can look at a cut-off and base it off that.

so i have some grey levis 511 and they have some sexy ass stacks and shit, and a few whiskers coming in. they have been machine washed (mom dukes made me).

any tips on anything else i should do or should i just leave them alone and let the whiskers and stacks continue to come?


edit: can fades come to every color jeans, and or pocket fades?
