i got a pair of 501 stfs sized up 1 from my regular size and they fit huge, do the thighs shrink a lot?
Oct 28, 2009 @ 21:39
After the shrinking process, the 501's are straight-fit. You won't have to worry about any part of the jeans being too tight.

Oct 29, 2009 @ 10:10
Usually after I soak I should put them on damp correct?

Should I still do so when I'm going to get them tapered or should I just let them dry without putting them on then get them tapered

I'm planning on stacking also

assuming your talking about stf
indigo rigid is just plain indigo dyed

as for the verde rigid it has a green color to it

itll look like this

Yep those are 514 imprints. I picked em up in the summer but I didn't wear them too much cuz of heel drag and sloppy stacks, so I got them hemmed and tapered slightly and now I love the fit. Yep they are raw, they are being marketed as "super fast fading" raw denim - and a week in with lap fades alrady starting up it definitely doesn't fade slowly.

scroll up for some pre-taper/hem fit pics

datruth how are you liking the imprints?

They are real nice so far. There is some fading starting up, and the color it fades to seems kinda weird, but we'll see after some more wear.

Have any of you made cutoffs out of Levi's? If so, where am I exactly supposed to "cut" them off. Also, are they comfortable?

you can just buy cut-offs or you can look at a cut-off and base it off that.

I think it looks gay if you don't know what to pair cutoffs with or your body type is not good for cutoffs.

Yo, anybody rock a size 36 and isn't fat? I'm a size 36 right, I have faily big legs because I boke and skate quite often, but that's my thighs... My actual ankles are quite boney, calves are muscular... But check it.

I tried on some 501 Slim Straight. I took out a size 32x34, they looked incredible, then I pull my size out: WTF!? They looked like pants from big and tall, I was stoked because when I tried them on, they were even too big for me! So I try a 34... Couldn't even button them shits. What's a good Levi's model that I could fit into without too big of an inseam but slim fitting for muscular legs? I'm usually wearing work pants and sweats or BDU's/shorts, so that's why I'm not too hip to the denim game.

My Uniqlo pants usually fit well, but I'm sick of them and want to get back into Levi's.

id try a levis 520 tapered fit.

try 501stf size you could get a waist that would shrink too much, but when you soak keep the waist from shrinking. Had a friend who did that and they turned out slim, but not 510 slim or 511 slim

I wear a size 36. Almost no excess fat in the legs (no homo/idunno).

Personally, 501 stfs sized a 35 x 34, fit me PERFECTLY. Like literally, there is no better fit. Its the best fit I've ever had. EVER. top it all off less than $15, and they last for longer than people usually say..

ive never seen a pic of a good 501stf fit, ever
