looking for a heavily 'destroyed' or preworn wash of lvc / levis that are quite baggy, a 1944 501 or 1937 501 cut would be perfect?

What does coated or coated rigid mean?
have you even tried on a pair of samurais? nothing can replicate the feel of 15 - 21oz denim unless the denim itself is that weight. If you're talking Fit wise, thats just a matter of personal choice. Quality of build, obviously the samurais are going to be of a more high quality. and fading properties? samurai would dominate since they retain their rigidity longer and make sharper creases. The 506s would soften up with in 2 months tops.
so i just dont see why you would compare the two. Maybe you can compare to cheap mondays or something like that but samurais? pleeease.

not tryin to hate on your 506's, but they clearly cant compare to a nice pair of samurais. just by the pics online at UO the 506 fit aint all that great, looks like just another hybrid skinny fit.
thats not to say just cuz their 60 $ their crap , i mean i rock regular non-selvadge 511's, stfs and imprints all the time....when im not wearing my edwins
