I can't find anything, and no 511's are too skinny.

i just copped a pair of dark navy 511s.. i wore them once and ironed them before i wore..

does this type of denim honeycomb ? and if so what can i do to help it develop honeycombs quicker ? and does ironing prevent the denim from honeycombing ?

I've been on my 501 STF shit for a while now. I tried on some 514s last time I went out and although I liked the fit, those leg openings are big as hell. Like, they're as big as the 501 openings and it just throws off the whole shit. Also, I'm going have to size up one from what I typically wear for 501s (33 vs a 32). Is there a Levi's fit that's just like the 514 but with a slight taper?

Size up 1, hot soak, it should be pretty tight but then after 2 weeks it will stretch out OR you can size up 2 and have it semi-loose around your waist but wont have to go through the stretching and tightness, i would size up 1 though

My waist is in between a 32-33.

I'm planning on going with a 34W/38L.

Figure it'll shrink down to a 32. Stretch a little bit.

Inseam will probably shrink down to a 34-35.

I sized down 1, did an extreme hot soak, and they stretched out from a 31 to about a 33 1/2, almost 34.

No there not, but I'll size up 2 on both inseam and waist since from my experience my old STF shrunk.

Sup my man, you can taper jeans yourself. Either do it on the sewing machine or if you dont have one, take em to the dry cleaning spot and they'll do it for a quick $12.
