im on the west coast, so i dont know if anyone in the central/eastern U.S. has Fred Meyer stores, but surprisingly, they have a decent selexion of levis for pretty cheap.
I got some sick black STF's on sale for 31.99.
Not the most ballerest jeans on the planet, but they look sharp, and you can spend the jack you saved on jeans, on some kicks or fitteds!

Ive never heard of fred myers.
What is that?
I like levis weather they are flashy or not.
They have a good selection in style. For a reasonable price.
There should be an outfit thread.

Hey im looking to buy levis 520s
www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=true&itemCount=10&startValue=31&selectedProductColor=&sortby=&id=14692891&parentid=M_APP_JEANS&sortProperties=&navCount=27&navAction=poppushpush&color=

and i was wondering do I need to size up or down? i have 514s, but i think its a bit too slim, and much too short. I bought waist 30 because thats what I am, but I'm nearly 6 feet tall. Will the 520s fit better?

520s are tighter (slouch skinny).

You can try them out at your Urban Outfitters.

I sized down two on my stf's

why would you size down if they are STF's? or do they stretch in the waist after a few wears?

I just got some black 501STF's and i'm not sure what sort of soak to do. At the moment it looks like i laid some fiber optics in the seat if i sag them a bit. My girl said i'm not going out in public like that (i slapped) >sad
Would like a slimmer fit with no nut show... no homo.

I just bought a pair of raw Levi's 511s, my problem is that they are bleeding on to my shoes, my other problem is that i'm scared to wash them to get rid of the dye because it may shrink and I really don't want it to. What can I do to fix this problem?

What is the benefit of soaking STF's vs Washing them?
My plan was to wear my black stf's for a long while before washing them, to give them some sort of fade and or wear.

Do the 511 raw stretch out easily? I just bought a pair and at the calves they are tight as shit. I don't want to soak cause I'm afraid of shrinkage. Or should I give it a cold soak and try to stretch them out when they are drying?

514 slim straight
if those are too big for you try to find 511 in larger sizes.
if those are too small get 501

that's weird because the area where honeycombs develop undergo much more stress than where the creases and stacks are located.

with 511's are you supposed to wear them right after you get them or should I soak them first? If so, warm or cold? this goes with the terms sanfordized or something?

you can just wear em. do a cold soak if you want em to shrink a little and a hot soak if you want em to shrink a lot.

Yeah, with 511's, there's really nothing too special about the denim.
Just purchase and wear.

But, like araw said, you can soak em for some more shrinkage if you'd like the fit a bit tighter.

As I grow older, I pay less attention to what men say. I just watch what they do.

Looking for somthing raw (or distressed - but nice!) and for less than $50.

Available in a longer inseam than 33" (preferably 34").

Something slim, not super skinny, not baggy. No nut hugging, no ridiculously baggy.

Not 501 STF's.

Any/all help is appreciated.
