i have a pair of FH 1001. the fading is insanely fast and there's not much sizing problem. the bads, they don't have super heavy denim options like Samurai.

This is no correct - the sizing changes by lot, and has been completely different for certain lots. Follow the sizing charts on blueingreen's site, they'll help you out. I would not recommend sizing down if you want your jeans to fit the way they are supposed (what the cut is listed as or truly is).

it's just a guide, and the sizing for the most part only varies with the heavier models. i also find BiG's sizing guide to be pretty inaccurate, considering they haven't updated any of them. it's probably a good idea to confirm sizing from whom ever you purchase from.

Ofc I'm serious, would I ask it otherwise? Like fuck should I know Samurai doesn't have a single tapered model..
Nov 09, 2009 @ 14:25
Maybe if you read or used the Small questions thread, you would know that they don't make anything similar to Diors.

But by rule of thumb, excluding all external information, you would want to go true to size on the models. Also, BiG updates the measurement tables quite often, and Gordon is very helpful. If you are ordering from japan or take5, you always want to ask them to make sure that the waist measures XX (what you want)on the pair that they ship to you. I say that because samurai sizing differs from pair to pair rather significantly, more than other brands.

Totally agree....I fucked up TWICE on sizing when I got them proxied from japan. I could fit good in size 32 for FH 1001 and my waist is almost 36 inch. The first time ordered the S710, I sized up to 33 (heard Lot10 runs slightly smaller). When the Lot10 size 33 came, it was so tight (felt like it was size 30 or 31). Then I just listens to what people tell me to get true to size, meaning get size 36 for my 36 inch waist for Lot10. Needless to say...they sent me size 36 BUT it's Lot11. It felt way too big on me. So I finally talked to Gordon about my sizing issues and decide for lot12 size 34 was perfect for me.
