Fixed. The more you wash, the far less likely you'll run into any type of holes/rips/tears.

Exactly my point. Why do people ask stupid questions and then are shocked when the answer is nothing short from a simple and obvious answer.

I was looking at BiG & I spotted the Black Knights you guy's have mentioned a few times here.
I am pretty interested in them & I was wondering how would I go about sizing?
It says that they shrink at least 1" at the waist when hot soaking (I am guessing you have to pre-soak these) so would I go with 34 since BiG's measurements say that a 34 waist is really 35..

Hopefully when it releases I will be able to grab a pair. Does anyone know the release date?

**Oh man! I was checking the sizes on BiG & there is no more 34 left... :[
Any black raw denim similar to the cut of the Black Knights?

no, the cut and the black denim is what makes it fantastic
many people taper their s5000bk's but i dont think anything else is really similar

aside from a couple here and there, i haven't seen any black jawns that have really amazed me. most just end up looking sorta grayish. hopefully the "fading properties" on these will live up to what the site purports.

I went True to Size, but I'm skeptical of the estimations and measurements provided by BiG. I did thought about sizing down 1. It would actually be perfect after they stretch, assuming it's 1".

However, they estimate the BK to shrink only 1" where in the past it's been more than that. Gordon is suppose to confirm with me when they arrive.

got s5000 sams with arcs and tabs from blue in green, fresh out the box. probably one of the last pairs with arc/tabs. wuts good.

lot 12, can anyone tell me if theyll loosen up with wearing?

presoak they fit great, i sized 1 up in my waist but i think i benefited in a more true to size look anyway, but i was wondering if theyll loosen up post-soak, because i have a feeling there will be some shrinkage.

There will be shrinkage, but you should wear them right after the soak while they're still wet for 10 minutes or so just to stretch the waist out before you hang them to dry.

You'll be fine. Zero denim stretches like crazy. If anything, you should be sizing down 1 on them.

i'm hoping for a loose fit, so that's good news on my part. they're very fitted after a hot soak. i'm pleased, especially if they stretch out. thanks a lot guys.
