for people that have owned both, do you like the texas cotton (500, 610) or the regular cotton (710,s5000)?
August 16, 2009 @ 18:15:14
^ can't really go wrong with either, but i really like how texas cotton pairs fade.

Yeah, my 710s are 15oz texas cotton, and I love how they fade.
August 16, 2009 @ 19:01:05

But the Sams will be well worth it. blushing

Fuck, I was flipping through the WDYWT October 2008 and I saw this:

The guy who posted is ninpo. Any idea how the denim is coming along?
August 17, 2009 @ 11:25:16
^Nice. Question, do only the black one have hidden arcs?

^

You don't see a lot of 0610s in action on HB. I see a few on SuFu every once in a while.

I'd go with the 0500s though. Just personal opinion.
August 17, 2009 @ 17:03:02
^ just get 710's if that's the cut you're looking for, the type of cotton shouldn't really matter. but if you're set on either 0610's or 0500's, i'd get the 0500's, i thought the 0610's were dope at first until i saw how low rise they fit.

the difference is huge, actually. to answer the question, get the 0500s and buy a size smaller than you would with the 710s.
August 18, 2009 @ 08:30:38
Hey sb where did you learn all this?
78?

in terms of durability, which pair will last longer, the 0500 or 710?
August 18, 2009 @ 15:20:06
It depends on what you're doing, from hardcore dry sex to sitting in a wheel-chair(murderball).
August 18, 2009 @ 16:03:45
just walking around, no exercising or running in them
i dont really wear my jeans hard
just to school and casual wear
August 18, 2009 @ 16:07:33
Well then, imo it doesn't matter, just depends on the fit you want.

maybe i should have rephrased, but all i'm saying is if he is looking for a certain cut why wouldn't he just get that model? you can't really make a bad decision choosing between the two, but why wouldn't you get the one with the cut you're already looking for?

just wondering, for the 0610, the only thing that turns you off is the low rise?

For me too. Check out some fit pics on SuFu. They don't look as good as the 710s (and yes, I know they're different cuts).
August 19, 2009 @ 22:48:36
im really considering them cuz i dont normally wear my jeans that high
most of the time they sit on my hips
