so just to clear things up, on lot 10 (and some lot 12), the waist measures tagged presoak?
so on lot 10 (and some lot 12), if i went true to size and it shrinks 2", the equivalent for lot 11 would be sizing down 2?
for example
im a true 29. if i got tagged 29 on lot 10, after soaking, the waist would measure ~27
that would be sizing down 2 on lot 11 correct?

here's what I experienced with my size 29 lot 10's

Pre-soak
waist: 14.75
inseam: 35 (hemmed by 2nd)
hem: 7.75
thigh: 11.125

post 1 hour, 15 min hot soak measurements:
waist: 14.5
inseam: 33.5
hem: 7.5
thigh: 11

I just bought mine sized down one from the tag. I'm a size 29 and I bought a size 28.

i was asking because i read the early samurai forums and people went tts on lot 10
and after soaking, they shrunk almost 2 inches

so i was just wondering if the equivalent to that is sizing down 1 or 2 for lot 11

Just got my 710s last week, and have hot soaked em. I felt like I didn't get all the shrinking out of the way so I threw them in the wash. I'm waiting on them right now

fit is good, but the stacks are kinda OD, maybe u shoulda got them hemm'd before

cause have u seen rtst102's sams? shit is alright except the stacks, the stacks are uneven and look like dinnerplates poking out, idk its just my opinion

cause after a few washes, shit is gonna be soft, and thats when the stacks are gonna look like accordians

I'll take em' if he doesn't want em'. I continually forget the norm in these parts - oversized shirts (by at least a size or two), slim jeans that look baggy because they're worn at the thighs, pants that are 6" too long, and wearing one of ten models of sneakers including vans eras, authentics, chukkas, am 87s and 90s and maybe a few others. You guys should seriously expand your horizons and create your own aesthetic sense, meaning to not base it off that of those who are popular on the internet.

i'm a 28 waist (lost some weight) and i bought a 28. yes, sold contest sammies a while back. needed the cash sad but i'm glad i came back to the s0500xx's. i'm really diggin the cut.

Yes, but the idea is that the look would be better in every way if people stopped following the herd. The fit from alleyooptroop is a good fit. These forums are for opinions and I'm throwing mine around.
