They would've fit if you hotwashed/soaked them... they're not supposed to be like a perfect fit when u first get them, but that depends what fit your looking for

The waist was basically the same size as my waist, it was a comfortable fit. I put them in a hot wash/dry though so I'll post those pictures after.

They're size 31 which is my true waist size.

yea youll shrink the shit out of those if you do hotwash/dry, denim will get pretty soft but still rigid probably

i dont think so. when you purchase from BiG, you get more than just the jeans you ordered. they will hem them for free, pre wash them for you, and they will even throw a few swathes of denim in there in case you need to mend and rips/tears that might happen. with BiG, the sale doesn't end after the purchase is made.

p.s. though that could be all bullshit cuz maybe 2nd has excellent customer service as well.
