whats the samurais equivalent of the apc new cures?

trying to get the same cut but better quality

Be about it

There really isnt any. 710's can be kinda slim depending on your body. The only other slim model are the ones with Lee denim style back pocket stitching..not sure of model name .

I have a pair of 710's that I just got. They're TTS.

1. How long should I let these soak in hot water? And if I desire a slimmer fit, should I use hotter water?
2. The waist is already very snug, despite the rest of the jean being baggy. When I soak, should I hang the waist above water so that it doesn't shrink?

after 40 minutes or so it doesnt matter how long you soak them afterwards. the temperature of the water actually has more effect than the time. If you want a slimmer fit you shouldve gotten a smaller size. although the hotter water will shrink it more, it will only shrink so far. Just soak the whole pair of jeans and if you dont want the waist to shrink as much you can wear them after you soak them (yes while wet) to prevent them from shrinking more than your waist size. otherwise, i'd say to just rough out the tightness a little after they dry.

if you want a slimmer fit, put them in the dryer after a hot soak.

OK, thanks. I'm going to go ahead and take the plunge and stick them in the dryer. Say, the waist does shrink an inch or two, will continuous wear allow it to stretch back? Because pre-dryer, the waist is quite snug.
Dec 26, 2012 @ 04:04
I don't recommend sticking them into the dryer.... hot soak for 30 min if you want maximum shrinkage, hang dry. You put them in dryer, your jeans will lose most of the starch.

It's been a couple of days since received my 710s from BiG. Great service and awesome jeans. I went a size down and after a hot soak they fit really well. I'm glad i finally got a pair to try out. Definitely a step up from my Skulls, LVC and APC raws that I have had in the past.

honestly depends on the size of ur legs (pause) and the fit ur going for, i have a pair of 5000's n wish i sized down in the long run. if any thing i would say size down 1 at max never really fucked with more than that or u might as well get a different cut. best bet would be to match the measurement of the weird guys your size and compare with a size chart from BIG
