contemplating on getting either a pair of 710s or 510s

dunno what to get. i love the tapered fit but down the line, straight legs imo look/feel better after they've been aged. so im kinda torn right now. fu.

if you want a straight leg fit, look at the S5000VX
difference between 710 and 510 is rather big, could take a look at the S0500 first, it's in between those two

Dres- I like the fit on those 510s, but I think another soak would help make the fit look better, and like you said a hem.

does anyone know how the fit of a 710 compares to a N&F fit? N&F are the only fits I am familiar with, but the 710s look super awesome. . . I wouldn't know how to size since I would have to purchase online. Thanks!

The 510 cut is a lot looser then the 710. If you are considering straight leg, I would recommend looking at the 5000 or 500 cut instead of the 510, unless you are looking for a loose fit.

The 710 doesn't really fit much like any of the N&F cuts. IME, all of the N&F cuts have a lower rise than the 710. Maybe it is the most similar to the Weird Guy, but it is definitely less tapered than the WG.

Thats cool. I'm just trying to figure out my sizing. Most pants in a 36w are really big on me, except the N&F SkinnyGuy, but that fit is super small. Like, I wear a 34w in the WeirdGuy, and it's near PERFECT after stretching. So I am really unsure as to what I would wear in a 710.

Measure your waist where you intend on wearing them and go true to size.

I agree, measuring your waist is the best thing, but I would estimate from what you are telling me that you will probably be a size 36 in the 710. IME, most other brands of pants are vanity-sized in the waist by about 2", while the Skinny Guy is generally only vanity-sized by about 1".

Since Samurais are unsanforized (shrink-to-fit), you'll probably want to keep your soaks and washes cold to minimize shrinkage, if you like the original raw fit in the 36. If you want to do hot soaks and hot washes, you'll probably have to go to a 38, but I think there's a chance that those will be loose on you even with hot soaks and washes.

What is that supposed to mean??)

I sized up one on my 710's and I like the way they fit, they are always tight after a wash but go right back to where they need to be after a day or two.

Plus I'm a little lower on cash than I'd like to be.

YALL MOTHAFUCKAS BUY THESE! YOU'LL SAVE STUPID CASH AND WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT A HEM
