Get the 666 raw. They are 18 oz slubby and raw, when i had the 710s the fit was a bit more straight leg, but the 666 also is a nice slim fit.that's just my opinion though. Otherwise the s5000 is also a nice cut, but I find the hip flare to be annoying. If you are going for the s5000 my only advice is to size down 1 on them.

How would you compare the fit of the 21 oz to that of the 24?

Would be nice to see the 0500 cut in a heavier denim

there was once a collab from 2ND with the 0500 cut. it had 21oz but it's sold out since years.

cut-wise 21oz and 24oz should be similar. of course the denim behaves different but not so much that you could talk about a big difference in the cut

i'm not so sure about the fit. I'm gonna be hemming the leg quite a bit if i keep these.
what i'm most concerned about is the fit of the rise. tshirts look ok with it but buttonups that hang down longer can hang right where the crotch ends which bugs me. can you guys give me your opinions on it?

IME, the 666 is quite a bit slimmer than the 710, though. I think of the IH cuts, the Beatle Buster would be a better choice if he really likes the 710 cut, and now it comes in the same denim as the 666 for anyone who wants 18 oz. slubby.

Something about the buster strikes me as "corny". Idk. But the more I look at the 666 the more tempted I get. Anyway, let's move all IH talk to the proper thread.

The pockets on my 710s are almost ready to fall off. The white tab is thrashed and once the crotch blows I'm gonna send these things in for a repair. Another month on my bike should fuck these things up well enough

how do ya'll measure your waist size properly?

should i be measuring my true waist size (above hip bones) and sizing according to that or measure around my hip bones (where my jeans would actually sit) and size according to that?

i want a pair of 710s and just wanna get the size proper

Measure where your jeans will sit, that's the part of your body you'll have to match the waist measurement of the jeans to.

i think i'm just going to wear the jeans a little lower because of the lower rise

the arms of my shirt could use some shortening at the tailor but i've never worn it without the sleeves rolled up, and the length is perfect

I think it would help if you told us which pair of samurais...if you're talking about 710xx, go tts because they really don't stretch that much imo.

Took these photos actually quite a while ago.. My 666ODs have been getting all the wear, but I put them back on today and took some more pictures.

They are around ~4 months old now (actual wear).

Blue shadows look nice, I don't know how I feel about the blue stitching though. I'll probably cop the black version once they're in stock, I missed out on the Black Knights.
