my sams are soft as fuck. should i soak them to stiffen them back up? will them being soft mess with the fading?

you can do another soak to stiffen em, but the stiffness will only last a while. make sure you air dry. and no the fading will not be ruined.

In the long term, if stiffness is what you want, don't constantly keep soaking your denim. Every time you soak your denim, you lose more and more starch thus making them softer. Just try to wear your em, remember they just jeans.

If we're being exact, 2nd charged me 2400 yen in shipping the last time I bought a pair of Samurais from them. At current exchange rates, that comes out to $29.20 USD.

2-3", but with Samurais, it will likely take at least 2 or 3 hot soaks to get all of the shrinkage out.
