I know man Im so fkin disappointed. And i dont know im just not feelin the fit anymore.
They stretched alot in the thighs and from the knees down. If nobody buys them though i'll
still keep for sure

if you were to buy a different pair, what size would you have gotten?

i dont think that was a question
Jan 27, 2011 @ 16:48
My pair came in today. It looks and feels amazing.
Definitely a step up from skulls without a doubt.
I asked gordon to hem it down to 37, for some reason he didn't though.
Which may be a good thing, not sure if I want to keep em.

edit* nvm, already got em. Gonna soak em now, fuck presoak pics.

No way are these fully shunk. They look pre soak lmao.
I weigh more then whorichard/same size they should be tighter tongueface
Unfortunately thats the hottest tap water I have (old house).
Gonna do it again tomorrow, try to soak it at friends house or something...idk.

is there any way i can get sammy 710's with arcs and tabs besides rakuten?

am i going to have to get a proxy?
Jan 29, 2011 @ 07:55
You cant buy any samurais with arcs because in the us levis had a lawsuit against having arcs or tabs onhe jeans. But if you look online you can maybe find someone selling them (not online retail I mean like on a buying and selling forum). Otherwise you'll have to get them proxied from japan.

you don't need a proxy. there are plenty of shops in Japan that sell directly.

all shops sell directly and you don't need a Rakuten account

Just got done soaking my 710bks. They already fit way better than my S001JPs. Can't wait to get them hemmed so I can start putting some proper wear on them and really break them in.

Both wrong, you surely can get them in the U.S. but I will not blow up the spot.

Jan 30, 2011 @ 15:54
If you want arcs+tabs, email Gordon and ask him or just order from 2nd. They have exceptional customer service.
Jan 30, 2011 @ 16:51
copped mine in ueno, japan
Jan 30, 2011 @ 16:51
ueno,tokyo that is
Jan 30, 2011 @ 16:55
i paid 25000 yen
Jan 30, 2011 @ 16:56
that's about $300
Jan 30, 2011 @ 16:57
the thing about samurais, they keep shrinking
Jan 30, 2011 @ 16:59
so don't get them hemmed too much
Jan 30, 2011 @ 17:07
Thanks for clogging up the thread just to get your post count up.

We go over this time and time again. BiG is the only store in the US that sells Samurai. If you want arcs and/or tabs, email Gordon. He will be more than happy to let you know if they have any in stock. Otherwise, you're going to have to order from Japan.

my sams are soft as fuck. should i soak them to stiffen them back up? will them being soft mess with the fading?
Jan 31, 2011 @ 22:26
you can do another soak to stiffen em, but the stiffness will only last a while. make sure you air dry. and no the fading will not be ruined.
Jan 31, 2011 @ 22:28
Good shit, Drew.

In the long term, if stiffness is what you want, don't constantly keep soaking your denim. Every time you soak your denim, you lose more and more starch thus making them softer. Just try to wear your em, remember they just jeans.
