Yes, Edwin is a reputable brand, I don't think you'd go wrong with them.

For sizing, though, I think that these will be too big for you too. The 28 comes out to almost a 31" waist, if you look at the measurement charts. And because these are also prewashed, they won't shrink significantly, and they'll stretch out some as you wear them, too, even with a belt.

Hmm, still a size issue, hmm? Well, the jeans I'm wearing now are a 31", and they're not too loose with the belt [29" is my preferred waist size, but 30" is good as well], so even if it stretches to a 31" [or even a little more], I should be alright. And with a hot pre-soak [and then thrown in the dryer afterwards], it should shrink them a tiny bit, shouldn't it, even if they've already been pre-shrunk?

If not...I could always sell the jeans to one of my "larger" friends. I'm sure they'd take them off my hands.

I just really like the style of these jeans. I need to make it work somehow! And thanks again for your response. This forum is great for getting help. blushing

I'm about a month in to wearing my 710s, and I have a major hip flare l0l. Any way of fixing this or just wear it out?

^ To get all the shrinkage out of Samurai's, you gotta do more than just 1 hot soak. People usually do 1-3 hot washes to get it all out.

I always do one with some detergent. It usually gets 90-95% of the initial shrink out. Dryer for better shrinking.

i soaked my 710 lot 13 3 time to get the perfect fit. Ive only done 1 soak on my 710bk, they are still pretty baggy on the legs.

I would never machine wash them because the fades will come out somewhat different than not having them washed. There will be higher and better in contrast. Check out samurai thread on superfuture forum. There are many pics of different results from an early machine washed one and ones which have never been washed.
