Generally, yes. I don't find their 21 oz. denim to be particularly slubby, though.

No, slubby denim does not give vertical fade lines any more than any other denim does. Cheap jeans are not slubby, they tend to have almost no texture at all.

That vertical fade line comes from creasing when people don't wash their raw denim properly.

This isn't true. Vertical fades are from the vertical lines of un-even slub that run up and down the leg and actually fade faster than the rest of the lap.

It depends on what he was referring to. I thought he was referring to when you see that single vertical crease line. With what you are talking about, yeah, every denim will get that, but slubby denim will get them sooner because of the direction the slub runs in and the fact that it is raised.

Sizing question, I have dukes in a tag size 29 which are a 30, those fit me good, for s710's I have read they shrink around an inch in the waist? So would a tag size 30 which is a 31 pre soak going to fit good down the road considering the stretch they will give, or is a tag size 29 ( pre soak 30) going to be better? Sorry for the confusing question I just dont want to mess up this

They are STF. Just get your tagged size or size down 1 if you are a skinny mofo.


Yeah, I agree. The shrinkage after a few washes will actually be closer to 2" in the waist, and these will stretch, so TTS should be good.

Yeah, they stretch a lot. They can stretch back to raw size and often even beyond.


lies, my 710s shrink but don't stretch out that much. So do my S0500

710bk 2 years+
I gotta do crotch repairs. sad

BIG had these a while ago when there was a levi lawsuit going on. Don't they have these anymore? Im pretty sure all the 710s from lot 13 have a white tap.
