Initial hot washes before wear. Fuck a soak.

^ To get all the shrinkage out of Samurai's, you gotta do more than just 1 hot soak. People usually do 1-3 hot washes to get it all out.

I always do one with some detergent. It usually gets 90-95% of the initial shrink out. Dryer for better shrinking.

i soaked my 710 lot 13 3 time to get the perfect fit. Ive only done 1 soak on my 710bk, they are still pretty baggy on the legs.

I would never machine wash them because the fades will come out somewhat different than not having them washed. There will be higher and better in contrast. Check out samurai thread on superfuture forum. There are many pics of different results from an early machine washed one and ones which have never been washed.

They're okay, like you I don't get to wear mine much either, probably 3 times a week max, probably not even a month of wear in them. Work got me wearing dress pants. sad

Really doubt it. I've never had 710s but they're a lot roomier in the seat than my 1001s and my 19cm.

These are basically TTS. My waist measures in at 28.5" and I got a size 28. I could definitely have gone down to a 27 and suspect I could get a 26 to fit as well, but I wanted a looser fit for the winter.

^What's your height and weight if you don't mind? I'm usually a size 28 and your fit pics would be a good reference.

I'm 5'6 and about 135. My waist measures out at 28.5 and after hot washing these with a lot of agitation, there's still room to spare in the waist.

Question for folks who own FH and Samurai denim, which do you think fades faster? Im still in dilemma on choosing my next denim to cop for winter. Either FH 1001 or Sam' 710s. If you can provide pics and your daily activity and x amount of wears a week that be great. Thanks in advance

^ Sam 710s fade really fast. My boy has them, and after 3 months of everyday wear, shit was looking grail status.

PS - Check throughout the Superfuture Samurai thread.

Don't own Flatheads, but from what I've seen and read, they fade substantially quicker than Sams. That said, I'm not sure 'fading time' would be my main criteria for deciding which pair to buy.
