I wouldn't go that far, 501 is probably the most purchased/reproduced cut ever.


i like slim guys just fine. but i remember asking brandon if those brown ones were selvage, and he said no. s'all good, tho. theyre still really neat. and all gone. i think 501s are a great cut. im sad theyre generally made in mexico. brown selvage 47's would be totes aws. with a nice high rise and all that. low rise is poop.

Those are deep indigos, you can tell cause it has orange stitching.
They looks good better at 4 months for you than at 9 months for me sad.

I honestly wore mine everyday - 15 days & it is nothing like that deep indigo.

the first was about 2 weeks in only because i got poison oak sad and the second was right at 4 months

i would say that in a typical scenario, that formula would apply. however, in this scenario, where most people are getting approximately zero fades and zero contrast, save for one group of people( those who've washed), just seems like it might be necessary with these to kick-start the process.whats likely is that even after the wash, the dye, which is obviously ridonk with staying around, will still yield results closer to what youd expect.

there are, however, a few who've done a wash at some point and have been less satisfied. the only way to figure out what went wrong is to compare methods.

did you all have different temps? soaks? inside-out? what about you, ony?

has anyone whos had a less satisfying wash had better fading afterward?

with most brands, the answers to these questions might be obvious, but because there is such a range of wieghts, dyes and materials, this brand in particular is a bit hard to pin down. it needs a manual, not a standardized cardstock.

My first wash was cold, low spin, and inside out
My second was hot, normal spin, and right side out

i'm looking into getting a pair of size 38 weird guys, i was just curious on what i should expect for the leg opening size to be? being a bigger waist size, this is always the place that denim fits like shit for me. i looked around a good bit for a measurement chart for weird guys and i can't find one. does anyone have any ideas?

if your already going to spend the 100+ on a pair of nice denim, go the extra mile and get them tailored for another 20 to fit you the way you want them.

28, you don't want to size up too much. Its a looser cut already than the New Cure, if anything I would go with the skinny guy in a 28
