I don't own and N&F but from what I've seen they don't fade well at all unless you get the deep indigo or heavy denim. If you want fades I'd suggest going with a different brand.


The red weft weird guys fade good.

I kinda doubt that there is so much of a difference to go up 1, same cut and everything right?
I wouldn't really take my word for it though...

I can't try them on, as I'm buying online. I figure you're probably right, though.

It's been said grey weirdguys don't stretch as much as the deep indigo or regular indigo but I don't think sizing down 1 or going tts would be much different. Just don't go up 1.

I believe Deep Indigos can't be found anymore..
& yes WG's are slimmer then SG's.

NF slim guy selvedge chino
anyone have these? Im kinda confused about the whole selvedge chino thing. Are these really chinos or jeans that dyed "chino" color? do they stretch like selvedge indigo jeans? I don't think they will fade. Thanks for any opinions. Am considering these.

@rayrary the chinos are chinos not jeans. According to Tobi they are Made of raw Japanese chino fabric & 100% Cotton, so they're chinos not jeans.

i dont have them, but my local boutique stocked them for a spell. waay better looking in person. they felt a litle burlap-like, but im sure that wouldnt last for too long. either way, they're a little more than some of the models, but they're also bifunctional in so far as they can be dressed a bit further up than regular denim, but can also very much have a workwear feel. if you got the $$, id not recommend passing on these.

Worn my Deep indigos almost everyday for 7 months HARD. Walk, run, and bike in them shits. Only way for them to fade quickly. Otherwise, keep using them.

Honestly, I wear my Regular Indigos everyday & now I just don't even care for the fading anymore. Hopefully the day I do wash them, they'll look great, we'll see. Won't be for a while though.

just got my jeans back from the tailor shop. i got a taper on the legs and cut off 2 inches it looks much better now!
